The first one is sent in from the guy who is married. Man is 50 years of age, wife is 49, and they already have 3 grown-up sons.

I like what Guy (B) says below. What turns a man on? This is his answer: "The way she appreciates me even when i expect it least. The way she handles situations when thing are not working out." I believe we are all attracted towards the persons who are full of positive energy no matter how difficult or challenging life is at times. And I believe that if you are someone who is full of positive energy, able to re-focus and regain your confidence even after a setback or failure, no one will be able to turn their back on you. Everyone would love to be near you and around you, just because you are someone who can INSPIRE!

My wife had a historectomy 3 yrs ago and a year after things started changing. She's moody, critical and fairly aggressive and lost total interest in sex. She has been to the doctor and are being medicated. Because of our relationship problem she lives for her boys and are at times totally overboard. Apart from all i have said i contributed to all this by not being there and not giving her the attention and love. I have also at times been verbally abusive and cared only about my own needs. This however has changed totally since about April when i read your book.

Here's an entry sent in by a guy who is married.

Many times, after we have gone into a committed relationship for quite some time, we forget that even though we are united with our partners in some ways, we are still different in terms of our own personal development. It gives me the impression that our friend here has met a partner who is somewhat more forward-moving than himself. Not forward moving is NOT necessary a bad thing.

It is our right to choose how we should live our life, some of us prefer a slow-paced, quiet life, while others prefer to be constantly on the move and wanting to achieve more out of life. There is no right or wrong about all these.

I myself know a lot of couples who are facing similar situations like our friend here. We have here a lady who is constantly moving forward, but prefers to be with a guy who is of a slower pace. This is where all the dramas in every day life and in the relationship will come about. She chooses to be with a guy who prefers a slower pace, but is fussy over his choice of lifestyle, and wanting to help shape his destiny by trying to change him to move forward a bit faster.

And to our friend here, it is not necessary a bad thing to be with such a woman. She could be someone who will inspire you in your life in some ways. The point is, if you change into someone whom she desires you to be, you might be unhappy with yourself. So, if you want to change, make sure you change into someone whom she is happy with, and whom YOU yourself are happy with! And even when that happens, that is usually when the relationship is about to fail. BECAUSE, she has achieved her ends - changing you.

Confusing? Yes, it really is. Ironic? It is!

Relationships between humans are confusing. It might not be easy for anyone to understand. It seems that the relationship can be continued only if the drama is still on - she has someone whom she can try to change, and you are someone still wondering whether you should change or not change...what a challenging and exciting life that is!!!

Do not let your fears stop you from being in a relationship. Some people may be afraid of getting into a relationship because they may not be able to handle the stresses and anxieties in the relationship.

Well... here are some tips to help manage these stresses and fears.

Don’t anticipate what may or may not happen in a relationship. Take it one thing at a time. Some people may be afraid of what could happen.

Instead, focus on what is happening now. If a problem does arise, then you can try to figure out what you can do to fix the problem. Until then, take it one step at a time.

Try to learn why you are feeling anxious. Ask yourself what is it about relationships that scare you or makes you anxious. Think about it and try to figure out what is the basis of your fears and anxieties. If you do not know, then ask a professional.

Once you know what is causing your fears, you will become better in dealing with these stresses. Practice makes perfect. As you learn to deal with these certain fears, you will gain the confidence in being in a relationship.

Remember that being a relationship with someone doesn’t mean that you have to marry the person.

There are all kinds of relationships. There are friendships, dating relationships, more serious relationships, and others. Find the type of relationships that make you feel comfortable and go from there.

If you still have trouble in dealing with the stress and fears of a relationship, then talk to a counselor or talk to people who have "been there, done that". A professional counselor can provide much helpful advice on how to handle your fears and anxieties. He or she will also work with you as long as it will take for you to feel comfortable in managing your stresses and anxieties. Don't play games in relationships!

We all have friends. A lot gets talked about friendships. Everyone wants a true friend, and many of us believe that we have a friend who can be called a true friend.

What kind of relations do friends share?

When can we call a friend a true friend, and when can our friends take us as their true friend. After a romantic relationship, friendships are the most important relationships we can have. Though all of us have family and distant family, most of us rely on friends for advice, comfort and inspiration. How do we define a relation that can be called as one of true friendship?

Many of us started a relationship with our lovers as just friends, and how often have we forgotten about that after 1, 2, 3 or a few years later in a committed relationship together??

Yes, there should be a difference between friendship and love, but these two do share some common grounds. After marriage and after going into a committed relationship together, we no longer see our partners as friends. We expect them to speak, talk, behave and react in particular ways that we like to see.

When I make a date with my friends, my friends are always punctual. They remember important dates. They respect me; ironically they can remember what i like and dislike better than my lover. After going into a relationship with the love of my life, my lover is always late in a date with me. He expects me to pay every time for his bills. He cannot remember certain important dates. He speaks rudely at times...

I am guilty of such behaviors too, at times, of course, I am not saying I'm all perfect. You see, as humans, we always give ourselves excuses. We will tell ourselves : "oh, he (or she) is my partner, so being my lover, they must accept my flaws, yes it must work that way!"

Remember, your lover needs you as a true friend too! Don't ever forget that!

I want a partner who enjoys sex as much as I do. I'm a very passionate person and always put her needs first. I enjoy making sure she's having an orgasm (or multiples) and really having a great time. Once I satisfy her then, then I like to be satisfied.

Someone who is passionate about me... like I am of her. I believe my soulmate and I are on the same "wavelength"... i.e., we get each other. Someone who is honest, sincere, trustworthy, not into game-playing and childish ways. Someone who keeps fit and enjoys similar interests with me.

intellligence, a fit and toned body, someone athletic, romance, long nights of passion, candle-lit dinners followed by intimacy, intimacy, being passionate with my lover

liars, cheaters, those who like to play games, those who don't communicate, immaturity, childish games, smoking, those who use drugs, poor hygiene

That I'm very honest and trustworthy. That I'm "real"... I don't play childish games. I know what true love is and I want her to experience true love with me. I want to connect with her on every level!

Don't play games in relationships!

The very first sign of a very good friend, not necessarily a true friend is that we are not worried about courtesies. You will call your friend at any hour and talk without any thought of time in your mind. Similarly, whenever you need support, you will call a very good friend and ask him/her to help you out.

They expect the same from you. Another important trait of such relations is that we are not much worried about exposing ourselves. We speak about everything in our mind without worrying about what our friends will think. We are sure that they will take our talk in the spirit it was made. We are unguarded and open with friends in our talk.

A true friend is a little more than a very good friend. A true friend will support you even if it hurts his or her own interest. A true friend will understand your motives and needs and will be with you without any analysis or criticism.

A true friend will come forward to help without any request and be with us in need without showing it or expecting anything in return. With a true friend, you can be sure that you will get help to the extent possible by him (her).

For most women, relationship is important, and we can say that relationship is her life. Can love destroy you??

Do you have this question in mind? Because no one can think of love and destruction together.

Does this small story tell us anything? What lessons can we draw from this?

Many of us are extremely talented. Our talent can create a big difference to the world. We can help the world fight poverty, injustice and produce a better life for all. But some of us fall in frenzied love.

This love is all encompassing. This love takes over our life. We see nothing but our sweetheart everywhere. For us, all the other work becomes insignificant.

We lose our focus and are centered on our love like a mad person. This eats away the vitals of our personality.

For a person in deep and fanatic love, nothing matters other than love. All other talents take a back seat and the only driver is love. This kind of love destroys.

Love that could have been very inspiring, manages to destroy.

This is the irony of love.

To save yourselves from such destruction, you must always keep a level headed approach towards everything. You must sit back and reflect. Find out if you are missing larger goals?
